Creating Graphics in PowerPoint

Updated: Apr 15, 2023

Thanks to a recent episode of the IDIODC video podcast with Kevin Thorn, I learned how to create custom graphics in Microsoft PowerPoint. You can check out that episode here.

I recently used that knowledge to create a video as a part of a course for aspiring and novice instructional designers to create simple characters for e-learning games.

You can check out the video and follow along below:

Feel free to share an image or video your work in the comments section. I'd love to see what you come up with.

Hi. You have created a cool design course, I would like to note the high quality of the video and the amount of knowledge that you give. But I want to ask a little off topic, which application did you use to create such videos? Which software is better suited for this? https://www.movavi.com/learning-portal/free-video-editing-software-no-watermark.html

The program I used for this video was Camtasia. It's pretty intuitive to learn and they've also got some incredible tutorials that walk you through each step on their website.
